Liebster Award

To be honest this past Sunday was not being very nice to me

and I was feeling a little down.  So, to my surprise when I logged

into my email the lovely and awesome Robin at Stories to Tell

had delivered me a little pick me up.

Absence Makes the Heart Grow Stronger

I know, I know...

I have been absent from the blogging world for about

a week and a half and I have missed you guys terribly.

My excuse...

A crazy work schedule.

I found out last Tuesday (and last minute at that) that I was

going to be traveling to Boston for some intense training for work.

To be honest I was not happy about it at all!

I had never been away from the Hubs for over two days and I was

seriously not looking forward to an entire week.

Pathetic I know, but I completely love the guy and I have to say that

I really love our simple life at home...together, not apart.

Well needless to say I made it, but not without a few tears.

(Yes I am a little bit of a baby!)

But now I am super duper happy to be back home with my little family!!

I thought I would share a few of the pics I took while traveling

and most of them are of food and a little booze...go figure !

March Photo-A-Day

I decided to participate in #marchphotoaday after seeing so many that participated 

during February.  I have to say that I am really glad that I did...it has been

great fun since I started and it makes me more conscious of

picture taking (something I am really bad at).

It's Friday...YIPPIE!!

I am so happy that it is Friday. 

Does anyone feel like they live for Friday's?

Next up are a few highlights from my week...ENJOY!

1.  Downton Abbey - I have officially become obsessed with this show, so much so that I have watched every episode this week. (Yes I am a DORK!)  It completely hooked me and I had to know what happened.  If you haven't seen the shows you can check them out here (there is only 4 days left to view for free) and submerge yourself in all things Downton Abbey. 

2.  Home cooked meals - The Hubs and I have had some yummy and delicious suppers

this week and one of them I even prepared myself, I also overheard the Hubs saying

"it was on time", so I take that as a compliment from the cook in my house.  

3.  My Weekly Nail Challenge - My goal is to paint my nails a new color every week, so this week I am rocking Essie Mademoiselle and Essie A Cut Above, it super sparkly!

4.  Social Media Buttons - The amazing talented Allison from Green Tangerine Designs hooked me up with these fantabulous social media buttons.  I am so excited to have them and they look great with my blog layout.

5.  Date night with my awesome step-daughter Taylin - The boys had baseball practice, so me and Super Tay headed to Mexican for a girls night.  We had a BLAST!!
