DIY Ruffle Lamp Shade

Happy Monday to everyone!

I wanted to take this time and share my first successful DIY project that I listed on my High Five for Friday list last week...

DIY Ruffle Lamp Shade

It is super easy to do and it took all of 30 minutes.

Materials

- Lamp Shade
- Hot Glue Gun
- Plenty of Hot Glue Sticks
- Ruffles in the color of your choice - I used a little less than 10 yards of white.

First step: Measure out your rufflesfor the top and cut.

Second Step: Using your rufflesstart gluing at the back seem of the lamp shade and go all the way around until you are back where you started (See Below).

This is what your first row should look like.

Third Step: Continue to measure and glue each row of ruffles until you
reach the bottom of the lamp shade, I did 8 rows.

The Finished Product...

Hope you enjoy making one of your own.

Please let me know if you have any questions and happy crafting!
